RE:  ANNOUNCEMENT: POSTPONEMENT OF SHE THINKS SHE’S CUTE STAGE PLAY

This was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make, but I must inform you: the upcoming performance of She Thinks She’s Cute, scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Hardin Auditorium in Evans, GA, has been postponed.

This marks my third time bringing She Thinks She’s Cute to Augusta since our very first show in 2023, and the support we’ve received has been nothing short of inspiring. We were only a few seats away from being at capacity, and so many of you had already purchased tickets in advance. That incredible response made this decision all the more difficult.

Earlier this week, I began to feel unwell but continued pushing through preparations, believing the symptoms would pass. To add to the challenge, one of our crew members also became ill with similar symptoms, which weighed heavily on this decision. Unfortunately, my condition worsened, and this morning I went to the ER. After undergoing tests and receiving a diagnosis, I knew in my heart that I could not press forward with this performance. I must now be intentional about following the doctor’s instructions, resting, and giving my body the time it needs to fully recover.

As the writer, director, and producer, I take my responsibility to you—our audience, cast, and crew—very seriously. While I considered ways for the show to continue without me physically present, I ultimately realized that the best choice—for the integrity of the production and for your experience as an audience—was to postpone.

I’ve already connected with one of my production assistants, who reached out to the venue earlier today, and together with the team we have begun the process of rescheduling. All tickets already purchased will be honored for the new date. Your seats are secure, and no further action is needed on your part. As soon as the new date is confirmed, we will share all the details so you can make your plans.

One bright side in all of this is that rescheduling will allow us to expand and plan for two performances instead of one to meet the overwhelming demand. This ensures that everyone with tickets will be accommodated while also giving more people in the community the opportunity to experience this story.

To each person who bought a ticket, shared a post, told a friend, or offered words of encouragement—thank you. Your excitement and belief in this production mean more than I can ever express.

Please remember, this is not a cancellation but only a delay. This is not the final scene—it’s simply a script rewrite. We will return—stronger than ever—to bring this powerful story to the stage.
